Story
The Margin Is Where the Story Lives
For over a decade, my life has been spent wandering the edges of history.
I’ve always been captivated by marginalia—those tiny, often whimsical illustrations scribbled into the margins of ancient manuscripts. To me, they aren’t just historical footnotes. They are the heartbeat of humanity. They are proof that centuries ago, in India, Egypt, and beyond, people were just like us: curious, creative, and eager to leave a mark.
A Ritual of Connection
Marginalia Prints began as a personal quest for knowledge, but it quickly became the center of my home. My favorite hours are the quiet ones spent with my two children, tea in hand, turning a framed print or a postcard into a bedtime story.
Through these images, we’ve traveled across continents and centuries. We’ve learned that while the world changes, the human spirit—our desire to create, to share, and to dream—remains constant.
Reviving the Past for Your Modern Life
I save the pieces that speak to me most deeply—the ones with the richest stories and the most evocative emotions. My team and I take these fragments of the past and lovingly revive them, translating their timeless beauty into high-quality prints, tapestries, and home goods that are designed to fit into your modern world.
When you bring a piece of Marginalia Prints into your home, you aren’t just decorating a room. You are giving a centuries-old story a new chapter.
Our Hope
We are so grateful for the community that has grown around this project. Your requests have allowed us to expand from prints to textiles, bringing these stories into your everyday life through pillows and tapestries.
Thank you for walking this path with us. In a world that often feels divided, I believe that looking back at our shared history—and seeing the beauty we have created across borders—is the best way to help us stand together.
Welcome to the journey.
