Lucien Pissarro was the eldest of Camille Pissarro's five children and himself became a painter and printmaker, eventually settling in England and helping found the Eragny Press. This portrait reflects the close artistic bond between father and son — Camille corresponded with Lucien constantly about painting technique and theory, letters that remain an important record of Impressionist and Neo-Impressionist ideas. Camille Pissarro was a devoted mentor not only to his own children but to younger painters including Cézanne and Gauguin.
Jacquard-woven both sides in soft, durable yarn; insert included.

It's holding up fine so far and I have no strong feelings either way. Anyone who loves Portrait Lucien will be content rather than thrilled. The wait is the part I would change.
We appreciate the honesty. If the color is not sitting right in your room, we are happy to take it back within thirty days, no questions asked.
I was nervous about ordering art online and this went smoothly. It is the closest I will get to owning Pissarro, and Portrait Lucien looks the part.
My mother liked hers so much that I ordered one too. The color in Portrait Lucien is what people mean when they talk about Pissarro. I am thrilled with the whole experience.
I have bought a lot of art online and this is the first time it looked exactly like the listing. The finish is even and flawless right to the edges. The materials are noticeably better than the last two things I ordered online. Five stars without hesitation.
This went well past what I expected. The texture in Portrait Lucien makes Pissarro feel present in the room. Our driver leaves everything at the end of a long gravel driveway and it still arrived in perfect shape. An easy five stars from me.
