By the 17th century, landscape had become a genre robust enough to support entire printed series devoted to nothing but scenery — rolling fields, winding paths, and small figures going about rural business. This plate, part of just such a numbered set, reflects the era's growing appetite for pastoral imagery as a subject worth collecting in its own right.

This is exactly what I was looking for, and I looked for a long time. The smallest marks in Landscape are still visible, which is the entire point. Our driver leaves everything at the end of a long gravel driveway and it still arrived in perfect shape. I could not be happier with it.
The quality here is well beyond what I paid for it. There is a life to Landscape here that flat reproductions usually kill.
The customer service here answered me on a Sunday. The shading in Landscape has a depth I never noticed in books. 🙂
I was expecting good and got great. It has beaten every expectation I had.
This is the rare purchase that looks better in person than online. The colors in Landscape are richer than any version I found online. My partner is hard to impress and even he was taken with it. Five stars without hesitation…
