Rembrandt's most celebrated etching, made around 1648, illustrates a whole chapter of the Gospel of Matthew — Christ preaching, healing the sick and welcoming the poor and the children who crowd toward him out of the shadows. It earned its nickname from the then-astonishing price of a hundred guilders and is considered a summit of the printmaker's art.
Jacquard-woven both sides in soft, durable yarn; insert included.

I bought this to fill an awkward corner and it did much more than that. I have wanted something by Rembrandt since college, and The Hundred Guilder was the one to get. Shipping took three days door to door. I could not be happier with it.
My mother liked hers so much that I ordered one too. I have been hunting for a good version of The Hundred Guilder for two years. It has a substantial feel that photos cannot really show. It has come through a summer of open windows and humidity without a problem. It has made me a repeat customer already.
The quality here is well beyond what I paid for it. The detail in The Hundred Guilder holds up with my face inches away.
Good value for something this size. The detail in The Hundred Guilder holds up from a couple of feet away.
