A crane in flight, often shown against sun and clouds, was the highest emblem in the Chinese civil-official rank-badge system, reserved for first-rank officials at the very top of the imperial bureaucracy. Cranes carried strong associations with longevity and wisdom in Chinese culture, fitting symbols for the most senior civil servants. This badge would have marked its wearer as among the most powerful officials at court.
Jacquard-woven both sides in soft, durable yarn; insert included.

Everyone who walks in asks about it. The scale works perfectly for crane design and nothing feels cramped. The image is so clean that I have looked at it with a magnifier.
Everyone who walks in asks about it. The detail in crane design holds up with my face inches away. My whole family has commented on it and they never notice anything. I am thrilled with the whole experience.
I have already recommended this shop to three people.
The detail is good until you get within a couple of feet. The linework in crane design is decent without ever being crisp. I have stopped thinking about it, which says something.
This is my fourth order from this shop and the standard has not slipped once. The fringe on this pillow is neat and has stayed that way through two washes. It has made every other thing in that room look better by association. I will absolutely be ordering from here again.
