Young Bacchus and Companions shows the god of wine amid revelers, all warm flesh and Baroque energy — the Flemish exuberance van Dyck would later refine into the elegance of his royal portraits.

I ordered it on a Friday and it was here Monday. The scale works perfectly for Young Bacchus and Companions and nothing feels cramped. The whole order was smooth from checkout to unwrapping. My neighbor liked it enough that she ordered one for her own place. I could not be happier with it.
This is the rare purchase that looks better in person than online. It is the best forty dollars I have spent on this house. It has been worth every minute of the wait.
This sits right in the middle for me. The darker areas of Young Bacchus and Companions lose some of their depth.
My only complaint is that I wish they made a bigger version. The smaller elements of Young Bacchus and Companions are clear enough to reward a close look.
The subject alone sold me and the execution sealed it. I have wanted something by van Dyck since college, and Young Bacchus and Companions was the one to get. It has a substantial feel that photos cannot really show. It makes the mudroom feel like somebody with taste lives here. I could not be happier with it.
