Ashland sits along the Pemigewasset River in Grafton County, New Hampshire, at the southern edge of the Lakes Region near Squam Lake, the setting later made famous by the film "On Golden Pond." The town's falls provided water power for 19th-century mills producing tacks, woodenware, and other small manufactured goods, a common pattern for the small industrial villages that dotted New Hampshire's river valleys during the period. Its location along early rail and stagecoach routes connecting the White Mountains to southern New England made it a logical stop to document in the state's 19th-century town maps and atlases.

It arrived four days after I ordered and in perfect shape. The subject of Ashland Grafton is what sold me, and it delivers. I have bought two more since this one arrived. This old rowhouse has settled every which way, and it still looks right where I put it.
This shop does everything right, from checkout to delivery. Every line in Ashland Grafton is crisp, even in the busiest areas. This shop has a customer for life in me…
It looks great in the mudroom and my wife noticed it before I said anything.
So glad it found the right spot in your house. Thanks for the kind words. Ines
It has completely changed how the primary bedroom feels. My guests ask about Ashland Grafton before anything else in the house. The seller replied to my question in under a hour. I have told half my family about this shop.
I bought this to fill an awkward corner and it did much more than that. It brings out parts of Ashland Grafton I have never seen reproduced this well. The paper on this print is thick and slightly textured, exactly what I wanted. This shop has a customer for life in me.
