The Story in the Margin
Canaletto (Giovanni Antonio Canal, 1697–1768) was the supreme painter of the veduta, the topographical city view. Here he turns from his native Venice to the Prato della Valle in Padua — one of the largest public squares in Europe — rendering its sweep of architecture and figures with the crystalline light, precise perspective, and serene order that made his views prized across 18th-century Europe.
Printed with archival giclée inks on smooth, acid-free 220 gsm gallery-grade fine-art paper; available in multiple sizes.

The shipping was fast and the packing was better than most furniture I have bought. My guests ask about Prà della Valle before anything else in the house. I have told half my family about this shop.
It looks like something out of a museum shop, in the best possible way. The scale works perfectly for Prà della Valle and nothing feels cramped. Perfect from start to finish.
It shipped fast and arrived exactly as described. There is more going on in Prà della Valle than I noticed on the website. It looks right in a house built in 1920 outside Chicago. Good shop, good product, small quibble on cost.
