"The Zone" refers to the strip of undeveloped land just outside the old fortifications of Paris, an in-between space of factories, shanties, and wasteland that fascinated Georges Seurat as a subject distinct from the fashionable boulevards painted by many of his contemporaries. This scene reflects his early interest in the marginal, unglamorous edges of the modern city, painted before he fully developed the systematic Pointillist technique of his mature Neo-Impressionist work. Seurat's zone paintings connect his art to contemporary interest in Paris's rapidly changing urban periphery.
Jacquard-woven as a soft, double-sided tapestry throw with fringed edges — a warm layer for the sofa or bed.

I have bought three of these now for different rooms. My daughter recognized The Zone from her art class and was thrilled. Our apartment gets almost no light until noon and it still reads clearly. It has made me a repeat customer already.
Delivery was quick and the tracking actually updated. I have wanted something by Seurat in this house for years, and The Zone was the right pick.
The whole experience was smooth from checkout to delivery. There is more going on in The Zone than I noticed on the website.
I ordered it on a Friday and it was here Monday. The colors in The Zone are richer than any version I found online.
The colors are richer in person than they look on a screen. It went straight into the nursery and has not moved since. I will absolutely be ordering from here again.
