Johannes Vermeer (1632–1675) spent his short life in Delft, painting fewer than forty pictures of quiet, light-filled rooms. In The Glass of Wine, a man watches a woman finish her drink beside a sunlit window, a moment charged with unspoken courtship — the hush, the stained-glass light and the still, luminous interior that make Vermeer unmistakable.
Jacquard-woven both sides in soft, durable yarn; insert included.

Good value for something this size. There is more going on in The Glass of Wine than I noticed on the website. It has me wanting to redo the rest of the breakfast nook to match. I would tell anyone hesitating to go ahead.
The customer service here answered me on a Sunday. There is no pixelation at all, even with my nose close to it. It arrived a full day ahead of the estimate. It suits an old brick house better than anything I found at the stores around Atlanta. I will absolutely be ordering from here again.
It made the primary bedroom feel finished in a way I could not manage on my own. The detail in The Glass of Wine holds up with my face inches away.
Wonderful to read, thank you. We put a lot of thought into how these are packed, so it is good to know that came through.
I have already recommended this shop to three people. 🙂
This has been the easiest online order I have placed in years. I have wanted something by Vermeer since college, and The Glass of Wine was the one to get. This old rowhouse has settled every which way, and it still looks right where I put it.
