Rembrandt (1606–1669) lavishes gold, shadow and psychological weight on the scene; the painting hangs in the Prado in Madrid.

There are things I like here and a couple that bug me. The darker areas of Judith at the Banquet of Holofernes lose some of their depth. It is a solid maybe.

The finish looks nothing like the close-up shots on the site. The credit they offered barely covered what it cost me to ship it back. The deep blue is a fair distance from what the preview showed. I'm keeping it because returning it costs too much.
