Landscapes in Various Styles After Old — Antique Landscape Print

This is a leaf from Zha Shibiao's 1684 album Landscapes in Various Styles after Old Masters, in which the Qing-dynasty painter worked his way through the brush manners of artists he admired, from dense Yuan-dynasty texturing to airy, atmospheric river views. The album is now held, leaf by leaf, in the Cleveland Museum of Art's collection of Chinese painting.
