“Nissaka: The Night-Weeping Stone at Sayo no Nakayama” is a color woodblock print made around 1848–50 by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797–1858), part of his celebrated series The Fifty-Three Stations of the Tōkaidō depicting the famous road between Kyoto and Edo. The scene alludes to a local legend in which a murdered woman's blood soaked into a stone said to weep every night — a haunting story Hiroshige rendered with his signature atmospheric landscape style. The print is held in the public-domain collection of the Cleveland Museum of Art.
