Chromatic Circle — Signac Pillow

Paul Signac, a founding figure of Neo-Impressionism alongside Georges Seurat, helped develop the pointillist technique of applying small, distinct dots of pure color that blend optically in the viewer's eye rather than on the canvas. "Chromatic Circle" reflects Signac's deep interest in color theory, echoing the scientific color wheels developed by theorists like Michel Eugène Chevreul that Signac and Seurat studied closely to maximize the luminosity and harmony of their paintings. After Seurat's early death in 1891, Signac became pointillism's leading champion, publishing "D'Eugène Delacroix au néo-impressionnisme" in 1899 to lay out its theoretical foundations.
