Persian weavers developed one of the most enduring ways of bringing the flower garden indoors: the bagh, or garden carpet, which lays out a stylised paradise garden as if seen from above, complete with flowering borders, cypress trees, and water channels rendered in wool and silk. This tradition, most closely associated with the Safavid period and later centuries, reflects a much older Persian belief that a garden's flowers offered a glimpse of paradise on earth. The same repertoire of stylised blossoms recurs across Persian textiles, tilework, and manuscript borders, forming a shared visual vocabulary of floral abundance.

I was expecting good and got great. It has made me appreciate Persian Flowers more than I already did. The condition on arrival was flawless, right down to the corners.
My husband spotted this months ago and I finally gave in. ✨
The whole experience was smooth from checkout to delivery. The smaller elements of Persian Flowers are clear enough to reward a close look. There was a note in the box that made it feel like a person packed it. It has come through a humid August with no change at all.
