Peter Paul Rubens (1577–1640) was the great Catholic painter of the Counter-Reformation, and here he portrays St. Albert of Louvain, the twelfth-century bishop of Liège who was murdered and later canonized. Robed and dignified, the saint is rendered with the rich color and quiet gravity Rubens brought to his sacred commissions.
Jacquard-woven both sides in soft, durable yarn; insert included.
I have bought three of these now for different rooms. Anyone who loves Rubens should have St. Albert of Louvain somewhere in the house. One very happy customer here.

worth every dollar
It made the primary bedroom feel finished in a way I could not manage on my own. The clarity of St. Albert of Louvain makes it look like the original was photographed yesterday. I would pay more and still feel good about it. 🙂

There is nothing wrong with it and nothing memorable either. The darker areas of St. Albert of Louvain lose some of their depth. I would recommend it with caveats.

My mother liked hers so much that I ordered one too. It brings out parts of St. Albert of Louvain I have never seen reproduced this well.
