Pierre-Auguste Renoir painted relatively few pure seascapes compared to his figure subjects, but did produce coastal views during trips to Normandy and the Mediterranean, applying his characteristically warm palette and soft brushwork to water and sky. This seascape reflects that less common facet of his output, showing Renoir's Impressionist handling of light on water outside his more typical figure and portrait subjects. Such landscapes reveal the range Renoir maintained even as his reputation rested primarily on figure painting.
Printed edge to edge on a soft, durable woven area rug with a comfortable, non-slip feel.

This is the rare purchase that looks better in person than online. The shading in Seascape has a depth I never noticed in books. I would order this again tomorrow.
The colors are richer in person than they look on a screen. Every line in Seascape is crisp, even in the busiest areas. Our apartment gets almost no light until noon and it still reads clearly.
I bought this to fill an awkward corner and it did much more than that. The clarity of Seascape makes it look like the original was photographed yesterday. Genuinely delighted with it…
I’m really pleased with this. It looks more expensive than what I paid for it. It arrived faster than most orders manage to get to us out here. This shop has earned a repeat customer.
Really glad it worked out. Thanks for writing something this specific, it helps other people decide. Best, Ines
It looks like something out of a museum shop, in the best possible way. It has made me appreciate Seascape more than I already did. I would order this again tomorrow.
