In The Fall of the Rebel Angels (1562), Pieter Bruegel the Elder shows the Archangel Michael and his host casting the rebel angels out of heaven, the traitors mutating in mid-fall into a swarm of grotesque, Bosch-like monsters. It is a dazzling cascade of fantasy and detail, now in the Royal Museums of Fine Arts in Brussels.
Jacquard-woven both sides in soft, durable yarn; insert included.

The quality here is well beyond what I paid for it. The detail in The Fall of the Rebel Angels holds up with my face inches away.
I kept checking the tracking because I could not wait for it to get here. The shading in The Fall of the Rebel Angels has a depth I never noticed in books. The tracking updated at every stage and it arrived when they said it would.
It has completely changed how the mudroom feels. The colors are richer and warmer than a screen can show. This shop has a customer for life in me.
Everything about this went better than I hoped. My guests ask about The Fall of the Rebel Angels before anything else in the house. ⭐
It came packed so well that opening it took ten minutes. The tones across The Fall of the Rebel Angels are even and true right to the corners. The light in the Pacific Northwest is gray most of the year and this still holds its color.
