The larger of Bruegel's two surviving Towers of Babel, painted in 1563, is one of his most famous works. The vast spiraling tower, part Roman Colosseum and part construction site, climbs into the clouds while King Nimrod inspects the labor below — a breathtaking meditation on pride and folly, now in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna.
Jacquard-woven both sides in soft, durable yarn; insert included.

It looks great in the guest room and my wife noticed it before I said anything. The size is exactly what the description said it would be. The listing photos were honest, which is rarer than it should be. Buy it if the price works for you.
My whole family has opinions about the house and everyone agreed on this one. The tones are deep and even across the entire surface. The materials are noticeably better than the last two things I ordered online. Buy it, you will not regret it.
Appreciate you writing this. If you ever want a recommendation for something to go with it, just send us an email.
It has completely changed how the guest room feels. My daughter recognized The Tower of Babel from her art class and was thrilled. This shop has a customer for life in me.
The reproduction quality is the best I have seen anywhere near this price. The color in The Tower of Babel is what people mean when they talk about Bruegel. ✨
