This modest rural scene, showing a cottage behind a white picket fence, belongs to the landscape etchings Rembrandt van Rijn (1606–1669) produced in the 1640s, when he turned his attention from grand history paintings to the quiet countryside around Amsterdam. Rembrandt brought the same searching eye for light and texture to these small prints that he brought to his portraits, using delicate needlework to capture thatch, timber and foliage. His landscape etchings remain some of the most intimate works in his vast printed oeuvre.
Jacquard-woven in soft, durable cotton — a warm, fully reversible throw for the sofa, bed or reading chair.

This went well past what I expected. The color in A Cottage with White Paling is what people mean when they talk about Rembrandt. Thank you for making something this good.
Thank you. We spend a long time on the scans, so hearing that the detail came through means a lot.
This is my fourth order from this shop and the standard has not slipped once. The texture in A Cottage with White Paling makes Rembrandt feel present in the room. The high desert dries everything out and this has not cracked or curled.
The detail is unbelievable for the price. The scale works perfectly for A Cottage with White Paling and nothing feels cramped. The tracking updated at every stage and it arrived when they said it would. I am already planning the next order.
I'm really pleased with this. My mother has strong opinions about how a house should look, and even she liked this one. Easy recommendation, with a small caveat about the price.
The white matches what I saw on my monitor closely enough. It captures A Cottage with White Paling well enough that I stopped looking for a better one. Good value even at full price.
