This gum tempera and gold painting, made around the 1670s–80s in the Rajput kingdom of Bikaner in northwestern India, portrays an idealized royal woman holding a single flower, part of a series of courtly female portraits produced for the Bikaner court. Rajput painting of this era blended Mughal refinement with a distinct regional palette and formality, producing elegant, decorative portraits meant to celebrate courtly beauty and status. The painting is held in the public-domain collection of the Cleveland Museum of Art.

Jacquard-woven in soft, durable cotton — a warm, fully reversible throw for the sofa, bed or reading chair.
