Saint Sebastian, the early Christian martyr shot through with arrows for his faith, was one of the most painted saints of the Renaissance — a rare chance for artists to study the idealized male nude under the cover of piety. Invoked for centuries as a protector against plague, he later became an emblem of endurance.

The reproduction quality is the best I have seen anywhere near this price. Everything that makes Saint Sebastian special survived the reproduction. The condition on arrival was flawless, right down to the corners.
The soft gray matches what I saw on my monitor closely enough. There is more going on in Saint Sebastian than I noticed on the website. Four stars and a short wish list.
The colors are richer in person than they look on a screen. Everything that makes Saint Sebastian special survived the reproduction. Worth every dollar and then some.
The listing photos are doing an enormous amount of work that the real thing cannot back up. Nothing in Saint Sebastian lines up with the close-up images on the product page. I am out ninety dollars with nothing to show for it…
That is not the experience we want anyone to have. A full refund is on its way to your card, and I am sorry it took a review to get there. Ines
My husband spotted this months ago and I finally gave in. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough.
