The Story in the Margin
The American cowslip, better known today as shooting star (Dodecatheon meadia, sometimes classified as Primula meadia), is a spring ephemeral wildflower native to the prairies, meadows, and open woodlands of central and eastern North America, ranging from Wisconsin and Pennsylvania south to Texas and Georgia. Its nodding pink-to-white blooms have five sharply reflexed petals that sweep back from a dark, pointed cone of anthers, giving each flower a comet-like silhouette. Because the blossoms offer pollen but no nectar, they depend on bumblebees, which grip the anthers and vibrate their flight muscles in a technique called buzz pollination to shake the pollen free.

The customer service here answered me on a Sunday. Every line in The American Cowslip is crisp, even in the busiest areas. My partner is hard to impress and even he was taken with it. This shop has a customer for life in me.
This has been the easiest online order I have placed in years. I have been hunting for a good version of The American Cowslip for two years. It has been through a Gulf Coast August with the AC running nonstop and looks exactly the same. I have told half my family about this shop.
It arrived four days after I ordered and in perfect shape. The colors in The American Cowslip came through almost exactly as I hoped. It looks good in daylight and better under a lamp. It has already paid for itself in compliments. ⭐
I would buy from this shop again without much thought. It brought The American Cowslip into the house at a price I could actually justify. The quality of the materials is obvious the moment you handle it. The print came rolled in a rigid tube with caps on both ends.
It arrived two days after I ordered, which I did not expect. Every line in The American Cowslip is crisp, even in the busiest areas. Highly recommended if you are hesitating.
