“The Two Immortals of Harmony and Unity” is a polychrome woodblock hanging scroll made during the Qianlong reign (1736–95) of China's Qing dynasty, depicting a beloved pair of folk deities traditionally invoked to bless marriages and partnerships with harmony and good fortune. Popular prints like this one were produced for wide circulation in Qing-dynasty China, often displayed during weddings or festivals as auspicious household imagery. The original is held in the public-domain collection of the Cleveland Museum of Art.
