This gum tempera and gold painting, made around 1750–1800 in Lucknow, Mughal India, shows an ornamental vase filled with flowers set within decorative scrollwork, a popular decorative subject in the refined provincial court painting that flourished in Lucknow as the central Mughal empire's power waned. Such paintings, prized for their delicate detail and gold ornament, reflect the continued sophistication of regional Indian court art through the 18th century.
Jacquard-woven in soft, durable cotton — a warm, fully reversible throw for the sofa, bed or reading chair.

This is the rare purchase that looks better in person than online. Everything that makes Vase with Flower Arrangement and Scrollwork special survived the reproduction. Thank you for making something this good.
I bought this to fill an awkward corner and it did much more than that. My guests ask about Vase with Flower Arrangement and Scrollwork before anything else in the house…
Three weeks of waiting set my expectations higher than this could meet. The crop of Vase with Flower Arrangement and Scrollwork works, though I would have liked a little more space around it.
Appreciate the detail here. If you decide it is not right for the space, our return window is generous and we will keep it easy.
The colors read warmer in person and I actually prefer that. The tones across Vase with Flower Arrangement and Scrollwork are even and deep. Four stars, and the fifth comes if they add more sizes.
The colors are richer in person than they look on a screen. It brings out parts of Vase with Flower Arrangement and Scrollwork I have never seen reproduced this well. The whole order was smooth from checkout to unwrapping. It is the best thing in the kitchen now.
