That single change, from wild grass to a crop that could be harvested and stored, helped make possible the first settled farming villages and later the great civilizations of Mesopotamia and Egypt. Bread wheat, descended from those first fields, remains one of the most widely grown crops on Earth, and its ear has long been a favorite subject for the botanical and agricultural illustrators who documented the plants that fed nations.

I would buy from this shop again without much thought. The detail in Wheat holds up from a couple of feet away. We keep the porch doors open most of the year and the colors have not shifted. Worth the money overall.
